Ditto

Does anyone know this word & how it is used?

It means the same as what someone said before. We use it when we're in groups.

Al: I hope you had fun.

Bob: Yeah, it was a great party, thanks for inviting me.

Carl: Ditto.

In this case it means: "Great party, thanks for inviting me too."

Kay: The new math teacher's horrible.

Helen: Ditto.

In this case it means: "I think so too".
